Bullitt County Schools Need Volunteer Tutors
Do you have thirty minutes to an hour each week that you can donate to a very worthy cause? Do you love to read? Do you love children? Do you love to help others with their struggles? Bullitt County Schools are pleading for volunteers to devote thirty minutes to an hour a week in helping a struggling student. The goal is to help these students reach their highest potential. Your contribution of time one-on-one with a student can make a significant difference. You may assist in the school of your choice and the day/time of your choice. An hour of training will be required. Resources will be suggested by the teacher.

Food Pantry
During the month of August, we distributed food to over 90 families. Please continue to support this ministry with your donations of the following: canned vegetables, cereal, peanut butter, crackers, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, macaroni and cheese and canned meats. Leave your donations in the boxes at the entrances to the buildings.

Jail Ministry
Do you have paperback books on your book shelves that you would like to eliminate? If so, remember to donate those books to the library at the Bullitt County Detention Center. Devotional Books, fiction, novels, biographies and self-help books are requested. Please be sure the books are paperback. You may bring them to the church office or leave them on the table in the preschool hallway.

This ministry is always in need of notebook paper, pencils, bags of individually wrapped hard candy and money for Bibles.

Clothes Closet
The clothes closet is open the first Monday of every month from 4:00 - 6:00pm. There is a critical need for clothes, especially for children (all sizes). Please drop those off to the church office. As the season changes in the near future, there will be a need for coats, sweaters, etc. Please remember this ministry when you clean your closets.
